Do you remember these coasters? It is all over pinterest and it has a lot of views.
This is my tutorial on how to make these Bohemian Hama fuse beads coasters.
Normally this isn’t the stuff I make. Not because I don’t like them but because I like them to much!
They are so fun to make that I will make so many that I don’t know what to do with them…
Why I did make them
This time it was my sister that wanted to have some. Last year she and her husband bought a caravan on a camping not to far away. I’m not gonna lie, the thing was a mess! But my sister and her husband put in all their efforts and made it look nearly brand new haha. She said she wanted the place to have a bohemian feel to it and she did an awesome job to get it that way. She also saw these coasters on Pinterest and asked me to make her some of the pink with brown ones.
Because she asked so nicely I started looking into it. The official post on pinterest linked to a website that no longer exists. As you can see, the photo has an angle to it. For me that made it a bit harder to figure out how it was made and how many pearls they where using. I think I had to retry it about 4 times before I finally got it 😮
What you need
- Hama beads
- baking paper to melt beads
- tweezer painters tape / masking tape
- an iron
- heavy book (how to draw manga, which I never tried haha)
Color codes for the beads I used:
- Light brown 0021
- Beige 0027
- White 0001
- Pastel pink 0048
- Cerise 0033

So without any further delay, I give you my video of how I made these lovely bohemian coasters! (it starts off a bit vague but later it will be more clear, sorry for that)
